It’s Friday I’m in Love: Mary Katherine’s Wedding

Mary Katherine’s wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado was a day full of smiles, especially for her bridesmaids. These ladies looked lovely in LulaKate Britton dresses and all agreed it was the perfect, classy dress for the five unique girls. The bride herself even wishes she owned the dress! The Britton was a very elegant option for this March wedding and clearly a crowd favorite among these ladies.

Ready to Wear Wednesday: Ooh Baby!

Hi! Katey here. About a month ago, I had the pure pleasure of hosting a baby shower for my dearest friend of all time. This friend and I grew up across the street from one another starting at age 1 and stuck together attending the same K-12 schools and college. We’ve been there for each other for every milestone, being each other’s maid/matron of honor and most recently the godmother of my first born. We’re close, y’all. BFFAEAEAE. Well, now she is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her baby girl, and I was beside myself in getting to host a baby shower for her and her first child! Aside from planning menus, decor, gifts, and games for the hometown shower, I of course had to plan my outfit for such a special occasion. Enter {duh} LulaKate RTW! With the shower being held in Florida on a mid-September Saturday, it was no shock that it was still quite warm in the South. I’m not normally a big skirt wearer as it requires piecing together two clothing items (oh, the effort/pressure), but I couldn’t resist the playful and colorful zigzag fabric of the skirt and the bounty of jewelry options that came with it! The white sleeveless top was easy and allowed for a fresh clean canvas upon which to place my chunky, turquoise necklace. The skirt was lightweight and easy breezy for this hostess to wear while decorating, socializing, passing gifts, and cleaning up post-festivities. I can’t wait for this little girl to grow up and love all her Lula pieces (as I and her mama do)!

There’s the skirt. Third from the left. Purty friends. Happy Wednesday, Lula Lovers!
